Have you heard that green tea has health benefits? Well, it’s true!
Green tea is FULL of antioxidants which help promote healthy cells and can reduce cell damage. Green tea can also help lower cholesterol and may help keep blood sugar stable.
But you could lose all those benefits if you add sugar or chemical-filled artificial sweetners! (or if you pair the tea with sugary snacks).
Green tea is easier on the stomach than coffee, making it a better choice for people with sensitive stomachs. If you are trying to cut down on your coffee intake, try replacing your mid-afternoon coffee with green tea. It tastes great hot or iced.
It can also be calming, and can help you relax.
